Chartered by Congress in 1958, The Military Order of the Purple Heart is composed of military men and women who received the Purple Heart Medal for wounds suffered in combat. Although our membership is restricted to the combat wounded, we support all veterans and their families with a myriad of nationwide programs by Chapters and National Service Officers.

The Purple Heart is the only decoration that attests--without question--to the bearer having been in combat
and one that an individual can not be recommended for...

A Purple Heart Monument is in the works at Veteran Park Winona MN. This monument is for Purple Hearters of
All Wars. Donations most welcome! Paving bricks with 3 lines of 13 characters for name and theatre of action is selling for $125 that will wrap around the monument and entrance walkway.
The base is 2’X2’X9 foot and stone is 7’X5’. Pictured is monument that will be erected hopefully this fall. All hing on donations.
Stone below is located in Grand Rapids MI and ours will be near the same with size and text.
